How To Play Roulette
The European roulette also known as the French Roulette was invented in France in the 17th century and is still one of the most popular games of chance in the casino. Placement of the Chips – (Multiples of) 4 chips are bet. 1 chip is bet on 26, and the remaining 3 chips are divided between the splits 0/3, 12-15, and 32-35.
Voisins du zéro
Numbers in the Sector – This is a bet placed on the 17 numbers. The sector of the wheel designated by this bet runs from slot 22 up to and including slot 25. Clockwise along the wheel this sector is made up of the numbers 22,18,29,7,28,12, 35,3,26,0,32,15,19,4,21,2,25.
Placement of the Chips – (Multiples of) 9 chips are bet. 2 chips are placed on the trio 0,2,3. 2 chips on the 25/26/28/29 corner. The remaining 5 chips are divided equally over the splits 4/7, 12/15, 18/21, 19/22, and 32/35.
Orphelins
Numbers in the Sector – The Orphelins or Ophans are the two smaller pie slices left on the wheel between the Voisins du Zero and the Series 5/8. They comprise one sequence of three numbers (17,34,6) on one side of the wheel and five (1,20,14,31,9) on the other, making this a bet on 8 numbers.
Placement of the Chips – (Multiples of) 5 chips are bet. One chip is placed on the 1, and the remaining 4 chips are placed on the splits 6/9, 14/17, 17/20 and 31/34.

Inside bets
Straight up or Single bet is a single number bet. Staight up bet pays out 35:1.
Split bet is a single bet on 2 numbers that are adjoining either horizontal or vertical. The chip is place on the line between the selected numbers. A Split bet pays out 17:1.
Street is a single bet on 3 numbers on a horizontal line or in case the 0 is selected the bet is placed in between the line of the selected numbers. A street bet pays out 11:1
